Wine red tapered dinner candles, made in England from mineral wax. A deep, saturated red for a laid table, panelled rooms and long evenings.
Mineral wax burns cleanly, producing minimal smoke, for up to 12 hours per candle. Each candle measures 10" x 7/8" (250mm x 22mm) and is chamfered to fit a 15mm to 22mm candlestick socket, so it seats squarely in most holders without shaving or packing.
Supplied as a pack of 12 in the navy Charles Farris box. Chandlers in London since 1845.

What are top notes, mid notes, and base notes?

Top notes are the initial, fleeting aromas you smell and provide the initial impression, where mid and base notes emerge once the top notes have faded, providing a more lasting impression the longer your candle burns.
