Job Title: Group Graphic Designer & Creative Marketeer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and commercially minded Graphic Designer & Creative Marketeer to join our team across a portfolio of scented candle and ecclesiastical brands, including Charles Farris and Rathbornes 1488.

This role combines strong visual design skills with marketing insight to create compelling campaigns that drive engagement, generate leads and raise brand awareness.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content across digital, web, print, and email platforms, while also contributing fresh creative ideas for marketing initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping our brand presence, developing impactful advertising campaigns, and ensuring our marketing materials stand out from competitors.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Design & Creative Production

  • Design engaging marketing assets including brochures, adverts, digital banners, and promotional materials
  • Create high-performing ad creatives for Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Produce visually compelling graphics and videos for social media posts, stories, and campaigns
  • Design and manage multiple weekly email campaigns across both ecclesiastical and retail brands, including creation of graphics, layouts, and templates for marketing automation platforms
  • Design and update website graphics, homepage banners, landing page visuals, and promotional website assets
  • Develop creative layouts for marketing materials while maintaining brand consistency
  • Deliver campaigns and promotional materials with different visual styles and creative approaches, while ensuring alignment with overall brand guidelines
  • Produce multiple creative variations or proof-of-concept examples when required to explore ideas and support campaign sign-off
  • Lead the design, layout, and production of bi-annual printed catalogues for the ecclesiastical brand, from initial concept through to final print

 

Creative Strategy & Innovation

  • Proactively generate new creative marketing ideas and campaign concepts
  • Stay up to date with design trends, social media content styles, and digital marketing innovations
  • Monitor competitor marketing campaigns, creatives, and advertising strategies
  • Suggest improvements to enhance campaign performance and engagement

 

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Creative Designer, or similar role
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, web, and print design work as well as marketing campaign assets
  • Experience rolling out multiple campaigns and promotions with distinct creative styles while maintaining brand consistency
  • Experience designing creatives for Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
  • Creative thinker who contributes ideas, not just execution
  • Video editing and motion graphics experience for social media and digital campaigns
  • Experience using tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar

 

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of marketing analytics and ad performance
  • Familiarity with marketing automation or CRM platforms
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI design
