100 York Road has been the centre of London’s candle industry for two centuries. Today it is home to our luxury candle department, alongside top furniture retailer, Barker & Stonehouse. Carefully renovated to preserve the spirit of the old factory, you can still find our Victorian label printer and our wheel for dipping candles, a method we still use to craft our dining candles today.
As well as our traditional beeswax church candles, pillar and dining candles, there are over 30 different scented candles, reed diffusers, and a selection of gifts and home accessories. From October to December you will also find our famous Christmas department. Our staff are always on hand to help you find what you’re looking for.

In the heart of the Wiltshire countryside you can find our factory shop. Here you can stop and enjoy our viewing platform, allowing you to step onto the factory floor and watch how we are still making the traditional beeswax candles, which have made us famous since 1845.
